The last time my family went to visit him we found him in his dark room, in his wheelchair with nothing on but a diaper and an old worn out hospital gown that wasn't even tied and almost completely off and falling on the floor. My stepfather was in the black hole of a place for a little over a month. I've been in a few nursing homes visiting people in my life time BUT this place I wouldn't allow them to keep my dog overnight. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
LOOK AT ANOTHER OPTIONS FOR AN ELDERLY FAMILY MEMBER. NO CLUE!! I think what struck me the most is when you walk into Envoy the lobby is spit shined to perfection but as you go deeper into the bowels of this place you start to see that all the spit shinning stops at the lobby. Then a nurse was giving out medicine and I asked her to get someone to help get my stepfather dressed and she just stood there like she was deaf and the look of a deer in the headlights. This was at 1:00pm.I asked 4 people who were standing there texting on their cellphones why wasn't my stepfather dressed in warm clothes and all 4 said "we don't know". Some idiot pushed him right in front of the window a/c and he was freezing.
